We are extremely happy that over 120 students have started the MA in Development Studies programme 2020/2021. The programme will be fully online until January 2021.
Over 120 students from more than 40 countries attended the International Institute of Social Studies' online introduction week in the first week of September: a week packed with online workshops, getting to know each other, sharing stories, meets and a Q&A with the present students, practical information, the formal Opening of the MA programme and even online singing.
We are proud of the new students who have demonstrated that distance can be overcome.
Approximately 20 students have made it to The Hague so far and we expect more to arrive in the coming weeks and months.
If the situation allows, we hope to be able to continue the programme in-person early next year.
