Appointment three ISS professors

With great pleasure, the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) announces the promotion of three faculty members to ISS professor: Rosalba Icaza, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Andrew Fischer.

Rosalba Icaza: Professor of Global Politics, Feminisms and Decoloniality 
Lorenzo Pellegrini: Professor of Economics of the Environment and Development          
Andrew Fischer: Professor of Inequality, Social Protection and Development

The Executive Board of Erasmus University Rotterdam recently conducted a thorough review, resulting in several faculty promotions for the upcoming academic year. Icaza, Pellegrini, and Fischer have exemplified excellence in research and teaching activities. In addition, their substantial contributions have significantly impacted research within the field of development research. 

These scholars will continue to expand their roles by embedding their research areas within ISS' broader objectives in the Global Development and Social Justice Research programme
