Rosalba Icaza to deliver keynote lecture at 'Repositioning global development' conference

Associate Professor in Global Politics, Gender and Diversity at the International Institute of Social Studies has been invited to deliver one of the keynote lectures at the 2019 Finnish Society for Development Research Conference 'Repositioning global development: changing actors, geographies and ontologies'.

The conference will serve as a platform to share research findings and experiences, as well as to develop new ideas and strategies for shifting development narratives and agendas, for re-connecting actors from different scales, and critically examining and redefining the meanings and logics of development.

Alongside Icaza Graza, Giles MohanAshish Kothari will also give keynote lectures.

Dates: 27 February – 1 March 2019
Venue: Tieteidentalo (House of Science and Letters), Kirkkokatu 6, Helsinki, Finland.

Call for papers and registration

Interested scholars and practitioners are invited to contribute with sessions and workshops.

Registration to attend the conference will open in January 2019.
