In the Bolivian highlands, an elderly Quechua couple has been living the same daily life for years. During an uncommonly long drought, Virginio and Sisa face a dilemma: resist or be defeated by the environment and time itself.
On 21 November, the International Institute of Social Studies will show the film Utama (Our Home).
Alejandro Loayza Grisi, director of this acclaimed documentary (Sundance Festival), will be present (via zoom), together with a representative of The Embassy of the Plurinational State of Bolivia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and members of the ISS community to discuss with the audience after the projection.
The event will be followed by drinks.
