Library tea sessions

""

Join the University Library for tea, tools and useful tips in a series of short sessions on a variety of topics: from searching for literature to publishing your own work.

In June the Library will have three tea sessions: short online presentations on information, data, and publishing related topics with room for questions. Hosted biweekly, the sessions are held on Wednesdays between 15:00 and 16:00. Registration is not required. Just join us on Teams.

The kick-off session is June 2: ‘Basics of searching, a refresher’. This session is for PhD candidates who encounter problems when they search for academic literature, or who feel like they are not conducting effective searches. We will cover:

  • the resources available to you and how to access them
  • why librarians don't call Google Scholar a database
  • the basics of forming a search statement

The subsequent sessions are ‘Open Access @ EUR’ (16 June) and Publishing (30 June).
