How did the study contribute to your career?
ISS equipped me with required analytical and writing skills. I am trained to always question my own assumptions and biases as well as to be reflexive toward my positionality and privileges – attitudes that are crucial for social scientists and development workers.
What was your overall experience at ISS?
It was the best time of my life! It was academically enthralling and socially fulfilling. I was taught by professors who are leaders in their respective fields and contribute to on going socio-political projects. I met students from more than 50 countries with each of their unique culture and experience. And the vibrant city of The Hague… oh how I miss my second home!
