Professor Rosalba Icaza and research partners at Utrecht University have been granted an Erasmus Plus cooperation partnerships in higher education grant (250k) to conduct research on the state of diversity in European Higher Dance Education.
As Senior External Researcher, Icaza will contribute to research on Practicing Diversity in Dance by training researchers in decoloniality and intersectionality and overseeing the research and final report in three Dance Higher Education Institutions:
Performing Arts Research and Training Studios, Belgium (PARTS)
Stockholms Konstnarliga Hogskolaskh, Sweden (SKH)
Haute Ecole Specialisee de Suisse Occidentale, Switzerland (HES,SO)
The project will run for two years (2023-2025).
