On 8 June 2023, Dr Simona Vezzoli presented her research on encouraging migration policymakers to adopt migration science as the basis for migration policymaking.
During an event on migration research at Leiden University, Dr Vezzoli talked about her new research project, 'Making migration and migration policy decisions amidst societal transformations (PACES)'.
The aim of the PACES project is to investigate how to develop more effective migration policies that are forward-looking. It will do so by investigating factors shaping migration decision making and the theories of change underpinning migration policies.
